Job Summary:

The developer will be responsible for web and application development projects to help support our clients’ social media strategies. Projects will be web-based, though mobile applications may include those created for the mobile-optimized web as well as native phone applications (iPhone, BlackBerry, Android).

 

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Has strong leadership, interpersonal, and written/verbal communication skills
  • Has a passion for web development and new technologies
  • Has curiosity for social media strategies and how to apply these to our clients' business
  • Works well with cross-functional teams
  • Is self-motivated and able to multitask and self-manage in a fun, fast-pasted, rapidly growing and creative environment

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Management & Technology, Technical Communication, Marketing, or Graphic (Web) Design
  • Prior history in developing for the web and/or mobile is preferred
  • Knowledge of WordPress, ExpressionEngine, Drupal, Joomla, FBML is a plus
  • Should have experience with PHP, MySQL, Ruby on Rails, .NET, or similar programming languages
